Inspired Profile Writing with Jen

Are you ready to write the love of your life into existence?

Writing a profile can be a daunting task and a lot can come up just thinking about putting yourself out in the dating world again. Being online can be scary and intimidating due to the vulnerability and risk factors involved for our hearts and our public persona. In our creative profile writing sessions we’ll work together to untap your biggest desires, concerns, strengths, and fears. You will get in touch with and remember the essence of what you most want to project and attract into your life right now.

By the end of our time together, you’ll have a completed profile that you love that is ready to share (on your time frame) in ways that make you feel comfortable, safe and empowered, with a sense of where and how you will use it in your life and online to manifest the love you most desire. I will be here to collaboratively support you to narrate and create your profile. Typically this includes 2 hour long sessions, one at the beginning or our time together & on at the end of our process, along with short follow up emails and audio messages, when appropriate, in between our sessions.

Some people may avoid treatment, and there are many reasons for this. Some of these reasons include:
  • Worry about the stigma that can come with mental health care
  • Feelings of shame when speaking about past hurts
  • Not wanting to acknowledge that anything is wrong
  • Fear that discussions in treatment will not stay confidential
  • Money issues

However, statistics from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) show mental health issues are common in the United States. In fact, 1 in 5 adults may be affected. It may help to remember that therapists are trained professionals who provide support and maintain confidentiality. They are used to helping people work through painful or embarrassing issues. Some therapists also offer sliding scale fees or other financial assistance to people in need. And, although the stigma surrounding mental health can still come up, more people are becoming comfortable with talking about their mental health options with those they trust.

A trained therapist can help people make lifestyle changes. They can also help identify underlying causes of symptoms and provide strategies for changing unwanted thoughts and behaviors. Therapy can equip people with the skills to manage symptoms, reduce stress, and improve their quality of life.
